Peopleone to expand overseas operations

L.N. Revathy

Coimbatore , July 6

HR consulting firm Peopleone is looking at expanding its operations overseas. Having commenced its consultancy services in West Asia, the company is now keen to open office in the other SAARC countries and Egypt.

"It is early days yet. But we will be opening our office in Riyadh within the next three months," Mr Sudhakar Balakrishnan, Director and COO, Peopleone Consulting, told Business Line.

While the company is looking at setting up its own office in the overseas market by entering into a strategic relationship with a foreign partner, on the home turf, Peopleone is planning to reach out through the franchisee arrangement.

The company launched its operations in Coimbatore by partnering with Ravichandra Systems Ltd. "In the domestic arena, it makes sense to tie up with a firm with local knowledge, good industry connection and track record (past performance). We are looking at expanding our base rapidly in the tier 2 and 3 cities and hope to be present in 20 cities all over the country in the next month. Our aim is to be present in 30 cities by the end of the current fiscal," Mr Balakrishnan said.

Peopleone, he said, offers integrated HR services. "We offer training programmes, consultancy services and deployment as well. A good number of MNCs and even the renowned players in India source their manpower requirements from consultancy firms like us. Last year alone, we recruited over 3,262 candidates for placement in different companies," Mr Balakrishnan said.
