Workshop on patents at Vellayambalam

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala State Centre of the Institution of Engineers (India) is organising a two-day educational workshop on Patents, Designs, Trademarks and Copyrights on July 16 and 17 at the Institution Hall at Vellayambalam here.

According to Mr R. Satheesh, Honorary Secretary of the Kerala State Centre of IE (I), the programme is being sponsored by the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment. The target group of the workshop includes graduate and post-graduate students and research scholars in engineering, medicine, law and other disciplines.

The Director, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Dr B. N. Suresh, will inaugurate the workshop at 5.30 p.m. on July 16. Technical sessions will be held the next day.
