Rotary exchange programme at Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Rotary International district 3210 has invited applications from young businessmen and professionals of both genders for a cultural and vocational exchange opportunity under the Rotary's Group Study Exchange (GSE) programme.

Disclosing this, Mr T. S. Krishnaswamy, District Secretary, said the GSE team would be sent to England in October this year for a six-week visit. Rotary International will meet the travel expenses. Team members will stay with Rotarians of the host country

Those who belong to or work in the Alappuzha, Kottayam, Pathanamthitta, Kollam and Thiruvananthapuram districts in Kerala and Ramanathapuram, Sivagangai, Virudhunagar, Tuticorin, Tirunelveli and Kanya Kumari districts in Tamil Nadu and belonging to the age group of 25-40 years are eligible to apply. They should possess an excellent educational background, be engaged full-time in their chosen business or profession for a period of at least two years and should be proficient in English language. They should also possess a passport valid for at least one year from the date of commencement of the programme. Rotarians or their close relatives are not eligible to apply.

Those interested may apply to the President of the nearest Rotary Club with detailed bio-data so as to reach him on or before July 24.
