Vijaya Bank plans more city-specific credit cards in AP

Hyderabad , July 11

VIJAYA Bank has launched `Hyderabad Card', a city-specific credit card for the residents of Andhra Pradesh, here on Saturday.

Announcing the launch, the Vijaya Bank Chairman and Managing Director, Mr M.S. Kapur, said the city-specific credit card offers the cardholders discounts, rebates and special offers at selected premium outlets in Secunderabad and Hyderabad.

The internationally valid card in alliance with VISA can be used at 22 million VISA outlets across the world including one-lakh outlets in the country.

The card also can be used to access cash at over 8.5 lakh VISA ATMs spread across the globe including 6,500 in the country.

Having launched the `Bangalore Card' recently, the bank has plans to introduce similar city-specific cards for Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai, Mr Kapur said.
