CII seminar in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII-AP) is organising MAN'EXE-04 here on July 15, focussing on achieving manufacturing excellence in local manufacturing industry.

MAN'EXE-04 (Manufacturing Excellence) is first in the `Leadership' series planned by the CII's local chapter.

Through the leadership series, the CII aimed to spread a word among the local manufacturers on the importance of adopting best manufacturing practices followed worldwide.

The seminar would expose local manufacturers to the basic principles of best manufacturing practices, a CII press release said here on Sunday.

Mr B.K. Panda, Chairman and Managing Director of Vizag Steel Plant and Mr V. Narsimhan, Executive Director of Brakes India Ltd, would share their experiences during the seminar.

The release said the country was fast emerging as a major original equipment manufacturing hub with major players in the manufacturing industry looking at India as a major platform for outsourcing some key components.
