Global Malayalee meet in Bahrain from Aug 18-21

KOTTAYAM: The global conference of the World Malayalee Council will be held at the `Bahrain Conference Centre' in Bahrain from 18 to 21 August, 2004. About 1,000 delegates from different parts of the world are expected to take part in the meet.

The global meet being organised under the patronage of the Information Minister, Govt. of Bahrain will be mainly sponsored by the Gulf Air and the Bahrain Telecommunication Company, Mr Abraham John, General Secretary, Global Conference told media persons at Kottayam.

The meet aims at bringing the Malayalees living scattered in different parts of the globe to a common platform and identify areas of approach with a view to remain as a fraternity irrespective of political affiliations and religious outlook. Those who intend to attend the World Malayalee Conference may please contact India Regional Representatives or Global Council Committee, said Mr Abraham John. Dr Dayananda Babu, India region Chairman was also present.
