New Delhi , July 14

TANISHQ on Wednesday announced a new offer `19k = 22k' to commemorate the Tata Group's `Century of Trust' celebrations. As per the offer, customers can bring their jewellery and exchange it for 22k jewellery even if it is of a lower karatage.

Tanishq will value its jewellery as 22k pure jewellery as long as it is 19 karats or more.

Valid at all 67 Tanishq boutiques across India, the 19k=22k offer will be available on all jewellery exchanged between July 17 and August 8 this year. Launching the offer in Delhi, Bollywood actress Hema Malini said, "Gold purity is of a huge concern in India. It is important for people to be made more aware of the adulteration of gold by some jewellers and prevent them from being cheated."

General Manager-Retail Operations at Tanishq, Mr V. Govindraj said, "Keeping in mind the considerable under-karatage prevalent in the jewellery market, this offer comes with a promise of accessibility to every customer who aspires to own pure Tanishq jewellery."
