Computer glitch at Chennai air cargo terminal

A COMPUTER glitch in the Chennai air cargo complex from Monday has caused a backlog of cargo to be cleared.

The work is now being done manually. No demurrage will be charged on cargo held up at the cargo terminal, according to Mr R.J. Treasuryvala, Airport Director, Chennai Airport

He said there was a problem with the computers for the past three days and repairs were on. The problem is expected to be set right any time.
