Electronics instruments exports at Rs 1,515 cr in 2003-04: ESC

ELECTRONICS instrumentation equipment exports recorded a marginal growth in 2003-04 to touch Rs 1,515 crore ($329 million), according to Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council.

``During 2003-04, electronics instrumentation exports constituted 25 per cent of the total exports of the electronic hardware from the country and was second largest export item under electronics hardware, next only to electronics components,'' the ESC Executive Director, Mr D.K. Sareen, said.
