Society & Development Terumo Penpol staff gesture Our Bureau
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Employees of surgicals major Terumo Penpol has formed the Terumo Penpol Employees Congress Welfare Committee whose aim is to extend help to the needy and the weaker sections of society. The members resolved to collect an amount of Rs 75,000 towards treatment of 15 child cancer patients below the age of 15. Among other decisions, an amount of Rs 60,000 will be spent for providing three-wheelers to 10 physically handicapped persons. Hearing aid sets worth Rs 30,000 will be supplied to 15 impaired persons. Spectacles worth Rs 15,000 will be given away to those diagnosed with poor eye sight. The beneficiaries will receive the aides at a function to be held here on Sunday, which will be attended by Mr Yoshihiko Tosa, Chairman, Terumo Penpol.
