Our Bureau

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The total revenue of the air cargo complex here increased by Rs 12 crore in the last financial year, says a press release issued by Customs and Central Excise. The cargo complex had revenues of Rs 42 crore in 2003-04, as against Rs 30 crore in 2002-03.

In an effort to facilitate faster clearance of export cargo, especially vegetables and fruits, the cargo complex implemented a computer-based clearance system from April this year, the release added.
