Railway official meets Antony

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The General Manager of Southern Railway, Mr V. Anand, called on the Chief Minister, Mr A. K. Antony, here on Sunday.

An official said the General Manager sought the Government's assistance in completing various projects being implemented by the Railways in the State. Land acquisition and construction of road over-bridges are learnt to have come up for discussion in the meeting.

Mr Anand was accompanied by the Divisional Railway Manager, Mr G. Narayanan. Mr Anand also visited the divisional headquarters and interacted with railway officials.
