CM hints at interim relief to AP Govt employees

HYDERABAD: The State Government employees will be paid interim relief if the Pay Revision Commission report is delayed, the Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, said on Monday.

Inaugurating a conference hall at the AP NGOs Bhavan at Gunfoundry, Dr Reddy said he had directed the officials concerned to expedite the PRC report. The Government is also contemplating to provide house sites or a reasonably good house to the employees before retirement and consultations between associations and the Chief Secretary were being held to workout modalities, he said, according to an official release. - Our Bureau
