IBM India honcho passes away

BANGALORE: Mr Uday Shukla, Director of IBM India Software Labs, passed away in Bangalore on Tuesday, after a brief illness. An IBM spokesperson confirmed the news.

Mr Shukla hadserved IBM for more than 10 years in various positions, including the Head of IBM Global Services India, before being appointed as the Director of IBM's India Software Labs.

IBM India Software Labs, formally established in 2001 at Bangalore and Pune, partners with IBM Labs globally to develop, enhance and support key IBM products and technologies.
