Our Bureau

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Farmers' Agitation Council, a confederation of eight farmers' organisations in the State, will organise agitations on a massive scale from August 4 onwards to highlight major demands.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Council members had met the Chief Minister and submitted a detailed memorandum highlighting the problems in the sector.

Farmers will go on an indefinite agitation in front of the Secretariat from August 17 and will picket Government offices in all taluk headquarters from August 20.
