Land to be given to AAI Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A meeting of the Thiruvananthapuram Airport Development Society, chaired by the Chief Minister, A. K. Antony, here on Wednesday decided to expedite steps to hand over to the Airports Authority of India (AAI) the 27 acres acquired for construction of the new terminal at the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport.

According to an official spokesman, the meeting also decided to constitute a committee to speed up the acquisition of 120 acres of land needed in the second phase of the work on the terminal.
