Site Police from Hathway

Our Bureau

BANGALORE: Hathway Cable Internet has taken a major initiative to stop abuse of the Internet by introducing "Site Police", a premium filtering service to make Internet surfing more family friendly.

It can be used by subscribers for blocking pornography and other harmful content of the Web.

This filtering solution will be offered free for its annual subscription packages. The tool uses a complex multi-tier algorithm to maintain records of all Web sites visited in the past.
