Petroleum Chennai Petroleum Q1 net up at Rs 163 cr Our Bureau
CHENNAI: CHENNAI Petroleum Corporation Ltd has reported a net profit of Rs 163.32 crore on net sales of Rs 2,819.34 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2004. During the corresponding period in the previous year, the company reported a net profit of Rs 27.76 crore on net sales of Rs 1,978.61 crore The total expenditure was Rs 2,492.92 crore (Rs 1,885.42 crore). For the accounting year ended March 31, 2004, it reported a net profit of Rs 400.05 crore on net sales of Rs 8,739.03 crore.
