SKF India net up by 12.2 cr

MUMBAI: SKF India Pvt. Ltd has ended the second quarter of 2004 with a higher net profit at Rs 12.2 crore against Rs 6.22 crore in the year ago period.

Net sales for the second quarter stood at Rs 138.6 crore (Rs 110.7 crore).

For the first half period, SKF reported a net profit of Rs 25.6 crore (Rs 11.2 crore) on sales of Rs 268.7 crore (Rs 217.1 crore).

The company said it would continue its focus on the emerging opportunities in India.
