SBT revises FCNR rates

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: State Bank of Travancore has announced a revision in its interest rates on FCNR term deposits in dollars, pounds and euros with effect from Monday, according to a bank press release.

The revised rate on dollar deposits for a period over one year but less than two years is 2.14 per cent, while the rate on deposits made for over two years but less than three years is 2.88 per cent.

For dollar deposits for three years, the interest rate is 3.34 per cent. The interest rate on pound deposits made for between one and two years is 5.07 per cent, while for deposits made for over two years but less than three years, the rate is 5.18 per cent.

For pound deposits made for three years, the revised rate is 5.26 per cent. The revised rate on euro deposits made for between one and two years is 2.13 per cent, while for deposits over two years but less than three years, the rate is 2.59 per cent. For deposits of three years, the revised rate is 2.92 per cent, the release said.
