Sonata Software Q1 net up 45 pc

SONATA Software has reported net profit of Rs 4.32 crore for the quarter ended June 30, an increase of 45 per cent over the corresponding previous period.

The company recorded a consolidated revenue of Rs 78.83 crore during April-June 2004 compared to Rs 48.2 crore earlier.

The consolidated revenues included domestic and international sales and services of which the domestic sales showed a growth of 78 per cent from Rs 27.9 crore last year to Rs 49.8 crore for the quarter under review.

Six new clients were added during the quarter. The US accounted for 33 per cent of growth in exports, Europe 66 per cent and the rest of the world one per cent.
