Pharmaceuticals Wockhardt Q2 net rises 43 pc Our Bureau
Mumbai , July 26 WOCKHARDT has clocked a 43.1 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit at Rs 50.1 crore for the second quarter ended June 30, 2004. Consolidated revenues from operations in the period under review rose 37 per cent to Rs 289.2 crore, a company communiqué issued here today said. Meanwhile, for the first six months ended June 30 2004, the company's net profit and income from operations stood at Rs 94.6 crore and Rs 577.5 crore, respectively. The second quarter also saw US regulatory approvals for Wockhardt's sterile bulk drug and formulation facilities. Wockhardt is active in new drug discovery with three new molecules undergoing trials in India, the company said.
