Database of documentaries

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State Department of Information and Public Relations will set up a comprehensive database of documentaries on the evolution of Kerala as a polity, according to the Minister for Information, Mr M.M. Hassan.

Mr Hassan said this while inaugurating a preview on video documentaries produced by the Information and Public Relations Department here. The department also plans to produce documentaries on eminent personalities who strode the State's history, which would be screened throughout schools in arrangement with the Education Department.

These would also be screened in theatres owned by the State Film Development Corporation, the Minister added.
