BANGALORE: FCG India, a subsidiary of the US-based First Consulting Group, is planning to set up a dedicated development centre for long-time partner and client, Witness Systems, to develop a new product suite and offer quality assurance and testing facilities.

Announcing a $20-million deal, Mr Avinash Agrawal, Managing Director of FCG India, said that the company plans to add 150-160 staff to work on the multi-year contract from Witness Systems. It has about 470 staff on its rolls currently.

"The focus would be on leading edge technologies in the telecom space, and special emphasis on VOIP," Mr Agrawal said. Witness Systems will also be setting up a test facility at FCG India.
