Paper Products sales at Rs 200 cr

MUMBAI: Paper Products Ltd (PPL), the flexible packaging company, achieved sales of Rs 200 crore during the first half-year ended June 30 - representing a growth of 8.2 per cent over sales of Rs 185 crore in the corresponding first half of 2003. The profit before tax is Rs 19.89 crore as compared to Rs 15.97 crore in H1 last year.

On comparison between quarters, the company achieved sales of Rs 103 crore during the second quarter - a growth of 5.3 per cent over sales of Rs 98 crore in the corresponding second quarter of 2003. The profit before tax is Rs 10.55 crore as compared to Rs 8.36 crore in Q2 last year.
