Advertising New AAAI President Our Bureau
NEW DELHI: Mr Srinivasan K. Swamy, CEO of R.K. Swamy BBDO, has been elected as the President of the Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) for 2004-05. Mr Prem Mehta, Chairman and Managing Director, Lowe India, is elected as the Vice-President. Other elected members of the Executive Committee for the ensuing year are: Mr Rajiv Agarwal of Bates, Mr Nagesh Alai of Interface Communications, Mr Preet K.S. Bedi of Rediffusion DY&R, Mr Neville Gomes of Multimedia, Mr Tapas Gupta of Confluence Communications, Mr Kurien Mathews of Radeus, Mr Vinod Nair of Network Advertising and Mr Ramesh Narayan of Canco. Last year, Temasek set up a $100-million fund here, Merlion India Fund, along with Standard Chartered Private Equity. The fund holds significant stake in companies such as ICICI Bank and Matrix Laboratories.
