Boycott culture

Of late, it has become rather customary for the Opposition to boycott Parliamentary sessions when some important issues come up for discussion or debate. Boycott of Parliamentary sessions results in wastage of money and time. It also undermines the role of the Opposition in a democracy.

In fact, boycott by the opposition will enable the executives to transact the business "smoothly". The Opposition should abandon the `boycott culture' and engage in a responsible debate.
