BPCL launches `hi-speed' diesel

Mumbai , Aug. 2

HAVING pioneered the concept of branded fuels in India, Bharat Petroleum has launched yet another brand `Hi Speed Diesel'.

The new fuel is a blend of diesel and multi-functional additive sourced from Afton Chemicals. The additive uses GreenBurn combustion technology.

Mr S. Behuria, Chairman and Managing Director, launched the new diesel product at a retail outlet here. With diesel-powered vehicles becoming popular in India, there is a rising trend of diesel vehicle sales, according to a company release.

The product will be available at 18 retail outlets in Mumbai and would be rolled out across the country in a phased manner, the release said.
