HP in pact with Moser Baer to enter CD market

New Delhi , Aug 2

HEWLETT-Packard has announced that it has entered into an agreement with Moser Baer India, which manufactures removable data storage products, to bring HP-branded CD storage media into India and SAARC region.

"Moser Baer will manage the manufacturing, marketing and distribution of HP-branded DVD+R, DVD+RW, CD-R and CD-RW, storage media, while HP will continue to oversee product quality, testing and branding compliance to ensure an end-product that meets HP standards," according to a statement.
