Surana, Huawei tie up

HYDERABAD: Surana Telecom Ltd, engaged in the manufacture of telecom products, has recently entered into a memorandum of understanding with Huawei Technologies Company Ltd., for the supply of CDMA-based fixed wireless terminals.

The Managing Director of Surana Telecom, Mr Narender Surana, told Business Line that the tie-up would help tap the CDMA phone market potential. Mr Surana said the company recorded income of Rs 34.77 crore from operations and a net profit of Rs 1.37 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2004 as against total income of Rs 5.96 crore and a net profit of Rs 0.91 crore over corresponding quarter last year.
