Hyderabad , Aug. 4

ESEVA, the multi-faceted citizen services centre of the Andhra Pradesh Government, and BharatMatrimony.com, an online matrimonial services provider, have announced a tie-up to provide matrimony services.

The Director of eSeva, Mr. R.P. Sisodia, said, "This alliance is in line with eSeva's philosophy of extending new services and will further help it to extend its portfolio of citizen services by providing with an easy and simple avenue to find a suitable partner.

This tie-up is a natural extension of eSeva services. What started as a Government to citizen interface, has now expanded to cover several private entities. The number is set to increase further as companies like Kinetic are also evincing interest to avail eSeva services."

The Business Head of BharatMatrimony.com, Mr S. Suresh, said, "The company has a robust revenue model. From registrations and other areas we are able to generate revenues and continue to invest in new innovative services. Currently, we have 14 portals catering to different group of people and look to cater to new areas."

The eSeva TeluguMatrimony.com alliance will make it easier for prospective brides and grooms to find their life partner. Anybody can walk into eSeva centres and get themselves registered free-of-cost. Thereby, they can have their information hosted on the portal and also access other addresses.

The other model is subscription-based with Rs 750 fee for a three-month period. This would entitle them to other services including an SMS-based mobile alert about response to their address.

BharatMatrimony.com manages 14 matrimony portals and had recently commenced operations in Dubai and is looking to add more portals to its portfolio. The company publishes two offline magazines — Desi Match in the US and Vazkhai Thunai in India.
