Insurance products demo by ICICI Lombard

HYDERABAD: The executives of ICICI Lombard Insurance and General Insurance Co (GIC) made a presentation on the products they offered to cater to the security needs of different sections of society to the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy.

The products include group coverage for farmers in accident and crop damage due to excess or deficient rainfall, which is being implemented in Mahboobnagar district.

The Chief Minister asked ICICI Lombard and General Insurance to fine-tune the schemes to meet the requirements of AP, especially the farmers.

Mr Bharathan, All India Head (Govt), Mr P.J.V. Sarma, Regional Head of GIC and Mr Balasubramanyam from ICICI Lombard attended the meeting. The State Government has appointed Mr K. Swaminathan, a retired IAS officer, as the Chairman, Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission, tillJanuary 27, 2008.
