IDRBT ties up with Opus Soft

The Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT), research arm of the Reserve Bank of India, will partner with the Pune-based Opus Software Solutions Pvt Ltd to launch the National Ecommerce Payment Gateway.

The company would be the technology partner for the Ecommerce payment gateway, said Mr Ramesh Mengawade, Managing Director, Opus Software. It will be the apex gateway owned and governed by the RBI. The membership to the gateway would be open to nationalised, co-operative, scheduled and multinational banks. It would also enable member banks and their customers to use credit cards and e-cheques.
