BHEL bags order from Shriram Vinyl

Madurai , Aug. 8

BHARAT Heavy Electricals Ltd has secured an order for installation of a 40 MW steam turbine generator set along with associated auxiliaries, valued at Rs 21 crore, at the captive power plant of Shriram Vinyl And Chemicals Ltd, Kota, Rajasthan, belonging to the DCM Shriram Consolidation. The plant, erected to augment the power generation capacity, has to be commissioned in about 15 months, a BHEL press release said.
