Consultancy team blocked by Kerala Co-op bank employees

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Members of a private consultancy team, who were holding talks with officials of the Kerala State Cooperative Agricultural and Rural Development Bank here, was forced to cut short their visit following protests by the bank employees.

The employees raised `go back' slogans, alleging that the visit by the two-member team was part of the Asian Development Bank's (ADB) move to convert the bank into a high-tech that catered only to the elite.
