eSeva scouting for partner to host call centre

Our Bureau

Hyderabad , Aug. 10

ESEVA, the integrated citizen services centres developed by the Andhra Pradesh Government through the public private participatory (PPP) model, is scouting for a strategic partner to host a call centre that supports and complements its services.

The Director of eSeva has invited a technology partner who would manage a 30-seat centre under the build, own and operate model.

The entire investment for such a centre would have to be borne by the partner, and it would include the necessary hardware, software and the related infrastructure.

The partner would also have to device a model to make the call centre self-sustainable.

eSeva has grown to about 46 centres spread across the twin cities and to over 200 centres located across various municipalities in the State. This number is further set to swell to about 230 by the month-end, according to Mr R.P. Sisodia, Director.

During a recent meeting, Mr Sisodia said that eSeva has expanded its mandate to cover scores of private organisations and companies, aimed at making the citizens life comfortable.
