Dwarakanagar IOB branch renovated

VISHAKAPATNAM: The renovated premises of the Dwarakanagar branch of the Indian Overseas Bank and the currency chest were inaugurated by Mr S.C Guptha, Chairman and Managing Director of the bank, here on Tuesday morning.

Mr Guptha said IOB would strive to offer the best of banking services to the customers and sought public co-operation for further improvement.

Mr A.J. Prasad, Senior Regional Manager, said the Vizag region of the bank consisted of 31 branches and eight extension counters in five coastal districts from Srikakulam to West Godavari. The deposits in the region amounted to Rs 490 crore and the advances Rs 357 crore. He said the target was to take the total turnover in the region to Rs 1,000 crore by the end of the financial year.

Mr M.K Chaturvedi, General Manager of the bank, also participated in the function.
