MoU on telemedicine in Kerala

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State Government has entered into a memorandum of understanding with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for implementing a telemedicine project in the State.

The Secretary, Health, Mr E.K. Bharat Bhooshan, and Scientific Secretary, ISRO, Bangalore, Dr Sunderaramiah, signed the document at a function here in the presence of the Chief Minister, Mr A.K. Antony, on Wednesday.

Among those present on the occasion were Mr Kadavoor Sivadasan, Minister for Health, Mr G. Madhavan Nair, Chairman, ISRO, Dr K. Mohandas, Director, Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Science and Technology (SCTIMST) and Mr S.M. Vijayanand, Secretary, Planning.
