A view of the Slipway Complex owned by the Kerala Shipping Inland Navigation Corporation in Kochi. The Corporation has bagged orders for 20 boats from the State Water Transport Department. Of this, five have already been delivered. The boats will be deployed in the backwaters of Alappuzha and Kuttanad. KSINC has also placed orders for raw materials, engines and hull for construction of fibre boats.
