Hykon launches online UPS in Kerala market

THE Thrissur-based Hykon India (P) Ltd has launched a new 80 kVa online UPS based on microprocessor controlled high frequency technology in the market.

The new UPS, with a 3-phase input and 3-phase output, is designed to support sophisticated equipments and motor load, which is having a high crest factor demand.

It can cater to more than 240 computers at a time and also designed with various value-added services including high efficiency inverter, Mr Christo George, Chairman and Managing Director, said.

Hykon, established in 1991, had achieved a turnover of Rs 18 crore last year which is expected to touch Rs 35 crore this year.

The company, with an ambitious plan of becoming a national player in for years, has set a target of Rs 156 crore turnover by 2009.
