Events The Hindu-MetroPlus, Style Spa expo opens in Chennai Our Bureau
Chennai , Aug. 12 LOOKING for furniture, objects for interiors, a fish tank or a curio, head for The Hindu-MetroPlus Lifestyle Show at Chennai Trade Centre. An array of products, including consumer durables, electronics, furniture and interiors, arts and crafts is on display at the four-day exhibition, which was inaugurated today by actress Shobana. Some of the companies displaying their products include Style Spa, Sony, Hitachi, Divinity, BPL, Viveks, Chellamani and Sony. There is also a Pakistan firm selling ceramic products, and firms from northern India selling carpets and handicrafts in the exhibition. Besides products on display, a photo gallery has rare pictures on the country's freedom struggle and on Olympic games. The pictures are from archives of The Hindu and Sportstar. The entrance ticket for the exhibition is Rs 40 per person, and the timing is between 10 am and 8.30 pm on all days.
