Pradeep Tognatta moves to Samsung

New Delhi , Aug. 13

SAMSUNG India Electronics Ltd today announced the appointment of Mr Pradeep Tognatta as Senior Vice-President for its home appliances division.

Prior to this, Mr Tognatta was managing the Indian operations of Singer India. He has also previously worked with various consumer durable companies including LG, Videocon and Philips India. Speaking on his future plans for the home appliances division, Mr Tognatta said, "I intend to take forward the consumer durables business of Samsung to greater heights by penetrating deeper into the markets across all product categories thereby improving upon the market share."

Commenting on the appointment, Mr K.S. Kim, President and CEO, Samsung South-West Asia, said, "We are delighted that Mr Tognatta has joined us at Samsung. His varied experience in the consumer durables industry will complement the company's existing multi-disciplinary skills which are the fundamentals for a successful business."
