SBH gesture for mentally challenged

Our Bureau

HYDERABAD: The State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH) has announced here on Sunday that it has donated a mini-bus to Anuraag Human Services, a city-based voluntary organisation serving mentally challenged and old aged persons.

In a press release, SBH said the NGO runs a residential and day care centre for mentally challenged, pre-vocational and vocational training centre for adult retarded, home for disabled and old age people and a family counselling centre.

Considering the need to transport volunteers to visit remote villages to train the disabled persons, the bank said its Managing Director, Mr Amitabha Guha, has handed over the mini bus costing Rs 6.34 lakh to the NGO.
