Nava Bharat expansion plan

HYDERABAD: Nava Bharat Ferro Alloys Ltd has informed bourses that the company is undertaking the expansion of the capacity of its power plant from the existing 50 MW to 82 MW at an estimated cost of Rs 80 crore, which would be met from internal accruals as well as borrowings from banks and financial institutions.

The expansion project is expected to be completed by the end of March 2006.

The company has a 50 MW coal-based power plant at Paloncha in Khammam district of Andhra Pradesh, catering predominantly to the power requirements of its Ferro alloy plant at the place.
