Srikkanth is Varilux brand ambassador

FORMER Indian cricket captain Krishnamachari Srikkanth has been signed on as the brand ambassador for Varilux, a brand of progressive spectacle lenses from Essilor SRF Optic Pvt Ltd, the France-based manufacturer of plastic and polycarbonate prescription lenses.

"His ability to adapt, speed, agility, style and most importantly, the will to never let the spirit grow old, finds perfect synergy in Varilux. Varilux provides the answer to those seeking the most modern and innovative vision solutions for reading and long-distance viewing without compromising on finesse and appeal," said Mr B. Jayanth, Managing Director, Essilor SRF.Essilor SRF, which has its headquarters in Bangalore and production facility near here, is the market leader in the plastic lens segment. It is a joint venture between Essilor International S.A., France, the euro two-billion world leader in ophthalmic lenses, and the North India-based SRF.
