Coimbatore , Aug. 18

IOB has introduced the IOB Expo Gold Card that entitles the holder access to faster sanction of credit on liberal terms including interest concession.

The card is aimed at simplifying access to credit by exporters, particularly small and medium players.

Coimbatore served as the launch pad for introduction of this card. The bank has commenced screening the exporters' portfolio to identify and offer the card to eligible persons. "We are planning to cover every eligible exporter under this scheme in due course," said the IOB Chairman and Managing Director, Mr S.C. Gupta, during an exporters' meet.
