FIEO healthcare team leaves for S-E Asia

Chennai , Aug. 18

A DELEGATION of representatives from 12 hospitals in India have left on a three-nation business tour on Wednesday.

The delegationthat is going under the auspices of the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) will market India's healthcare services in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

The hospitals represented are: Apollo Speciality Hospital, Madurai; Asian Heart Institute, Mumbai; BM Birla Heart Research Centre, Kolkata; Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain Heart Centre, Bangalore; Dharmashila Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Delhi; Faith Healthcare Pvt Ltd, Delhi; Manipal Hospital, Bangalore; Meenakshi Mission Hospital and Research Centre, Madurai; NU Trust, Bangalore; Ruby General Hospital, Kolkata; Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute, Chennai, and The Bangalore Hospital, Bangalore.

Speaking to journalists shortly before departure, delegates noted that India had all the capabilities to attract patients for world-class treatment, including efficient nurses.
