Unions reject IBA offer

AT the wage negotiation talks held today in Mumbai, the Indian Banks Association is understood to have improved its wage offer by about Rs 175 crore from its earlier offer (Rs 920 crore for workmen and Rs 675 crore for officers).

The unions have rejected the offer. C.H Venkatachalam, Convener, United Forum of Bank Unions, termed the offer as not good enough.
