GE Shipping adds to fleet

MUMBAI: Great Eastern Shipping Company Ltd inducted its fourth Platform Supply Vessels (PSV) named Malaviya Twenty in its fleet.

"Capable of catering to deep water oil fields, the vessel was built at the Brattvaag yard in Norway Currently there are only four PSVs operating under Indian flag and GE shipping is the proud owner of all of them,'' the company said.

With improving prospects of exploration and production activities, and to meet the changing requirements of clients induction of the said vessel will offer wider opportunities to the company, it said.
