Hexaware Tech elevates Rusi Brij

Mumbai , Aug. 20

THE Director and CEO of Hexaware Technologies, Mr Rusi Brij, has been elevated to the post of Vice-Chairman and CEO of the company on Friday.

"At the time of the company's restructuring in 2001, Mr Brij joined the company as CEO. Over the past three years, Mr Brij has steered the company very successfully to the level of high growth, with Hexaware becoming one of the fastest growing software services companies among the top 20 software exporters from India," said a news release from the company.

The board of directors has also constituted a Management Council which will serve as the `think tank' of the company, said the statement.

The council comprises Mr Atul Nishar (Chairman), Mr Rusi Brij (Vice-Chairman and CEO), Mr P.K. Sridharan (Executive Director and President, Global Delivery), Mr Hari Murthy (President, North America), Mr Sunil Surya (President, Europe), Mr Manab Sen (President, Specsoft) and Mr Ashok Bildikar (President, Caliber Point).

The council will focus on long term strategy, direction, vision, mission and goals for the company.

Hexaware has had an executive council for the past three years.

The council consists of all the business unit, delivery unit and functional heads, and it focuses on day-to-day operations and ensures the smooth functioning of the company. Mr Rusi Brij is the Chairman of this council.
